New Realities in the Management of Student Affairs

Book excerpt: This book presents a description and discussion of a number of new roles and provides insights into how they are being designed and staffed to enhance efficient use of human resources in both large and smaller student affairs organizations. It discusses examples of how to address emerging needs in light of limited resources and explores the use of cross-training and ongoing collaboratively designed staff development as tools to assist in addressing and managing these changes.
