Book excerpt: Excerpt from The Medical Clinics of North America, Vol. 3: May, 1920 This patient is a married woman, aged forty-three years; who was taken ill on or about January 4, 1920. She is unable to give a clear account of her first sensations, but states that she was extremely nervous and that very early she began to have double vision. This was followed by disturbance of gait, so that when she went through a door she was likely to bump on either side. It was not the typical gait of cerebellar ataxia, but was a general ataxia. As she expressed it, she walked like a drunken sailor. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
