Book excerpt: With this book of poetry I hope to show the reader what I see when I create a poem. I write in rhyme, free verse and prose poetry. I want the reader to find something with which he can identify in each poem. My ideas are generated from the media, both visual and printed, as well as from personal experience. What I see will cause my response to be different from any other person, but to be able to trigger a response within the reader is my goal.
