Bingo the Dingo

Book excerpt: Bingo is a young dingo living in the outback of Australia. Bored of his chores, Bingo disobeys his mum telling him to stay under the shade, to play hide and seek with his friends. A fun game in the hot sun soon turns to panic as the heat catches the bush alight and Bingo and his friends are trapped by the fire! As they cry for help, the fireies arrive to put out the blaze. To Bingo's surprise, his firefighter-father is the one to show up, and Bingo receives a a further lecture as to why he should have listened to his mum!
