Book excerpt: My purpose in this summary is to introduce myself and my character. Thank you in advance for taking the time to read my story. I come from a strict family background of fifteen children. When my father passed away, I was at the age of sixteen. I knew nothing about life experiences or how to deal with different issues. The only thing we were allowed to do was go to school and church. We had no friends because we were not allowed to. We were very sheltered and withdrawn from society.
