Book excerpt: This book combines the papers of the conference 'Cypriote Antiquities in Berlin in the Focus of New Research' which took place in May 2013. Organized by The Cypriot-German Cultural Association on the occasion of its 35th anniversary in collaboration with the Antikensammlung, Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, the aim of the conference was to draw attention to the objects of the outstanding 'Cyprus Collection', which has been exhibited in a special gallery since the re-opening of the Neues Museum in 2009.
