Dynamic Models in Earth-Science Instruction

Book excerpt: First published in 1983, this book describes the construction and in-laboratory use of basic earth-science equipment, including the flume, rainfall simulator, wind tunnel and wave generator. It is emphasised throughout that the equipment should be capable of a high level of control so that experiments can be planned and replicated.
