Georgia, Texas, and Florida pro duce nearly 60 per cent of the total United States cr0p. Data on shipments indicate an upward trend. In Arizona and California from 1919 to 1926. Imost of the southern states except Florida showed some increase during the same period. The north central states showed a decrease. 'preliminary figures for 1927 for the United States show a decrease in shipments of nearly 20 per cent below the high point of 1926 - a natural reaction to the low price of 1926.
