It is unspeakably difficult nowadays, but there is nothing wrong with having white feathers instead of black ones. The heroes of my stories are the same as you. They go through difficult situations, struggle with their imperfections, are lost and found. The only thing in which they are better than others is in the ability to love unconditionally and they are brave enough to fight for their happiness. Moreover, they like me know that the greatest love is hidden in the smallest things. Sometimes we have questions that cannot be answered. Therefore, instead of wandering around in the dark, it is better to focus on something small and move on.
