Book excerpt: This handbook was prepared by the FAO Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia, in the framework of the Green Climate Fund Readiness and Preparatory support project “Strengthening country capacities for climate change adaptation and mitigation and finalization of Country Work Programme for the Republic of North Macedonia”, as part of the systematic efforts conducted by the Organization to support the Republic of North Macedonia in the implementation of its commitments in the context of the United Nations Convention on Climate Change, focusing particularly on the areas of the FAO mandate.
