Book excerpt: Progress was made during the year on data analysis on ten experimental topics. Theoretical contributions were made to four of these topics. Three publications resulted. During the year a new experiment (p + p --> p?n) was initiated, and preliminary analysis shows large polarization asymmetries. Two Ph. D. degrees were awarded to student members of the group. Three papers in this report with significant data are indexed individually.
