N.W.T. Tourism Industry Association Review

Book excerpt: Presents findings and recommendations of a review of the Northwest Territories Tourism Industry Association and its related tourism zone structure. Specific issues examined included whether the present zone system is working, and if not, what new model or structure should take its place, and how and when should the new structure or model be introduced. Review activities included focus group sessions, interviews, telephone surveys, and examination of reports and background papers. Two new associations are proposed, and organizational structure and strategic issues associated with these associations are discussed.
