Proceedings of the European Workshop on Mechanical Plaque Control

Book excerpt: In May 1998, a 4-day workshop was held to consider the role of mechanical plaque control, whether supplemented with chemical agents or not, in the prevention and treatment of dental caries and periodontitis. The proceedings of this workshop should serve as a follow-up to those of the NIDR's landmark 1985 workshop, until now widely regarded as the definitive source for state-of-the-science information on this important issue.
