Revolution in Indian Higher Education with COVID-19

Book excerpt: The Novel Corona Virus has stopped all the economic sectors for a couple of weeks. The Higher Education sector has also been affected by the closure of the country. The closure is not certain and even after reopening of institutions, social distancing is going to be a norm. Therefore, the book is designed to suggest alternate methods for the reestablishment of educational processes in the post-COVID-19 outbreak. The suggested methods have few challenges so those challenges are also highlighted in one chapter of the book. Further, the preparedness of the institutions for the new normal is presented. At last, the strategies are formulated based on the SWOT analysis of higher education for the new normal. The suggested methods will not only help for the reestablishment of higher education in the post-COVID-19 outbreak but also it will help in grabbing the opportunity for the implementation of Education 4.0 earlier than expected.
