Cooper The author states that his zeal for the less fortunate was prompted by the following scripture: “The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’” (Matthew 25:40). The author candidly admits that there have been many successes and a few failures on his journey. The successes were due to following the lead of the Holy Spirit. The failures were the result of his own poor choices. The author proclaims the following mission statement for the book: If one senior believer regains the joy of their salvation, or if a believer, young in the faith, utilizes the information in the book to avoid future pitfalls in their journey, the author will consider this endeavor to be a success.
