When Denver Attorney, Campbell Mallary has a hunch of who may be behind a string of department store robberies, he uncovers a trail that leads to the murder of a woman found in the park. Nineteen-year-old Mike Overton claims he found the dead woman’s watch in a Circle K parking lot. It is up to Campbell to prove his client is innocent, and in doing so, he quickly discovers a whirlwind of events that will unravel his own life. When it appears to Campbell the mystery is resolved, his elderly neighbor, Mrs. Devitte and her cat reveal more unsettling events.
