Book Synopsis Thou Shall Not Steal by : Daniel Narvaez

Book excerpt: Dan Narvaez was the only player in NCAA division 1 baseball history to lead the nation in stolen base average per game for consecutive years. Games Stolen bases Attempts Stolen bases per game1979 Dan Narvaez, St. Peter's College So. 25 32 33 1.281980 Dan Narvaez, St. Peter's College Jr. 24 31 34 1.29A model of consistency, Dan understood the science and the art of stealing bases. In 1979, as an unknown he applied the techniques learned in this book to create one of the highest percentages in the College baseball history. In 1980 he had a bullseye on his back and pitchers and catchers attempted to pick him off or pitch out to minimize the speedster. However, he studied harder, worked harder and in the end was able to accomplish a feat no college baseball player has been able to duplicate. He stands alone as the only player to lead the nation two years in a row. 63 stolen bases out of 67 attempts in only 49 games is a 94% success rate and one of the highest in college baseball history. How did he do it? In this short book Dan finally puts down on paper his secrets to how to steal second, steal third or steal home. He teaches you how to earn the right from your coach to steal any base any time. This book is also about life principles, something Dan is passionate about. He shares his faith In Jesus Christ as His Lord and talks about his passion for Christ and for baseball. Dan has a passion for the inner cities of the US while loving the country side. He is the author of the 21st Century Delusion and Out of Time. His desire is to pass down these secrets to the next generation and give them the opportunity to learn from the best in college baseball history. More importantly is his desire to hold base stealing clinics across the US in any city or state. If you want to reach out to Dan you may do so @ 336-995-0255 or email him @ [email protected]. He can also coach speedsters for your team with individual sessions on base stealing and base running for your whole team or an entire league. He has conducted clinics with the Tampa Bay Rays pitching and hitting coaches for kids ages 9-19. Dan loves kids and is part of a Sports Outreach to the continental US and Puerto Rico, his native heritage.
