To Democratize or Not? Trials and Tribulations in the Postcolonial World

Book excerpt: This volume, a product of the first Tricontinental Conference organized by Yeditepe University, İstanbul, brings together perspectives on democracy and development in Africa, the Middle East and Latin America.
