Book Synopsis Togiak River Navigability Report by : Warren J. Keogh
Book excerpt: This report is one in a series written in response to the State of Alaska Attorney General's notices of intent to file quiet title on submerged lands in Alaska, which were filed August 27, 1992 and in 1996. The report is a comprehensive examination of the Togiak River and other waterbodies (creeks and lakes) in the Togiak River watershed--their physical and hydrologic character, land status, navigability status, and historical use. It focuses on navigability without making recommendations or determinations of navigability. This river flows entirely within the Togiak National Wildlife Refuge.
