Book Synopsis United States of America – Right Now by : John H. Davis

Book excerpt: The book addresses the origin and foundation of the American Dream, which equates to unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. These rights were proclaimed in the Declaration of Independence, won through the American Revolution War, guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution, and preserved by dedicated citizens. During the past several decades, we have witnessed a severe deterioration in traditional family and national core values, which are contributing to the current problems plaguing the USA. These problems are compounded by the negative attitudes manifested by many Americans concerning their unalienable rights and the provisions of the U.S. Constitution. The current situation is a potential threat to the preservation of the Dream and USA’s existence as a free nation. The publication highlights the provisions of the U.S. Constitution, major social, economic, and political developments; current situations in the United States that adversely impact on the Dream; and how Americans unwittingly and deliberately distort the provisions of the U.S. Constitution by failing to perform their duties and responsibilities and deliberately conduct acts that adversely impact the welfare of the people and the security of the nation. To this end, the book addresses solutions and actions for preserving the American Dream.
