Book Synopsis A True Christmas Cookie Story by : Jon Duncan Hagar

Book excerpt: Jon Duncan Hagar was born in the 1950s in Burlington, Vermont, and is the eldest son of the Cookie Lady for whom this story is about and dedicated to. He has four brothers, one niece, four nephews, three grandnieces, and two grandnephews. Jon has authored technical books and a few family stories. Before retiring, he worked as a rocket scientist, teacher, mentor, and software engineer for nearly forty years. Jon's wife, Laura, is the book's photographer as well as the family editor for all published works and websites. Jon and Laura love family and Christmas cookies as well as skiing, writing, and learning. They live on a ranch in the mountains of Colorado with their two dogs, many wild critters, and lovely snow-filled mountains. And just after Thanksgiving each year, they begin the process of making and distributing cookies, just as Jon's mother did for many years using the same cookie cutters created so many years ago.
