Book Synopsis Feasibility Study of an Automated Motor Vehicle Accident Reporting System for the State by : Robert W. Stokes
Book excerpt: The objective of this study was to assess the need for, and feasibility of, a standardized automated/electronic motor vehicle accident data capture and reporting system for the state of Kansas. This report outlines the many issues that must be dealt with in developing a statewide electronic accident data reporting and management system that meets the needs of all parties involved. The findings of this study indicate that additional expertise will be needed to design, develop, test, implement and maintain the software packages required for a state-of-the-art electronic traffic accident data collection system for Kansas.
