Glendinning's travel adventures include hitchhiking around post -war Europe in the 1950s, driving with his wife to India, joining a truck-load of adventuers driving through Africa, hiking 600 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail as well as through Panama's Darien Gap. In all, he visited 136 countries and he isn't finished yet.
