Book Synopsis Kanektok River Navigability Report by : Warren J. Keogh
Book excerpt: This report is one in a series written in response to the State of Alaska Attorney General's notices of intent to file quiet title on submerged lands in Alaska, which were filed August 27, 1992 and in December 1996. The report is a comprehensive examination of the main stem Kanektok River--its physical and hydrologic character, land status, navigability status, and historical use. The report focuses on navigability without making recommendations or determinations of navigability. The entire river flows within the Togiak National Wildlife Refuge.
