Book excerpt: This book reveals a path traveled by a young woman in search of love. Although love was found in possibly all the wrong places, learning always took place. While part one is the author's personal account, part two is a collection of poems, which in one way or another exhibits the writers' reaction to power, pain, passion and love. She was then forced to mature and deal with various dilemmas while raising a child and facing relationships gone astray.
